As far as what the caregivers do, there's nothing. The caregivers themselves are excellent; it's the office staff that ties their hands. Their office staff needs to be improved, and their scheduler doesn't communicate when they send people to my home. The agency is helpful by having confidence in the people that are there to watch over him.

I like them, and I have had no problem with them at all. They are here, they take care of my meals, and take care of the cleaning. I think all of them could improve on customer relations and training for the caregivers.

It was a good service for a while, then it got to where we had other members of the family who stepped on and we could do it ourselves. One thing is that they wanted a 48 hour notice if we were going to make changes. However, they made changes regularly if someone was sick or late. I haven't ever dealt with other facilities like that, but they raised the rate in the middle of our contract.
I've been very impressed with the people they have working for them. They help me take care of him so I don't have to do it all on my own. They listen to me when I call or have questions. They send people that are a good match and are willing to work with us. The most helpful thing is that they are sensitive to her desires as well as her needs. They are on top of everything with scheduling. They have provided me with help that's been good for me, and they've done a lot of good. Whenever I need answers or need to talk to them about any problems, they are always helpful. He helps my loved one in and out of the shower. They should have less rotation in the individual caregivers.
